‘Thanks to the brave souls who turned up for our second-last walk of the year last Saturday. It was miserably cold, wet and windy, but once you got going it was worse !
This Saturday, the 19th, is our last morning walk of 2015. To celebrate the walks and to add a festive element, Kevin will lead the 1.5 hour walk through the woods from Goatenbridge to Newcastle and when we reach Newcastle he has promised mulled wine and mince pies for everyone. We’ll meet at 10 O’Clock in Newcastle Church car-park and even if you haven’t joined us for a walk this year, come along on Saturday for the craic. After the recent rains it might be a bit muddy in places so make sure to bring appropriate footwear with you.
