South Tipperary Cycling Club
The latest cycling club in Tipperary was formed at the end of summer 2012. Drawing from communities all along the Knockmealdown Region, the club is going from strength to strength with 20 or more cyclists taking part in our weekly cycles on Sunday mornings.
If you enjoy cycling then you should certainly join our club. We cater for cyclists of all abilities, with a range of different routes taken each Sunday.
Weekly Cycles: Each Sunday morning, meeting at 8.45am and departing at 9am in summer, meeting at 9.45 and departing at 10am in winter – Cycles depart from towns around the region, changing each month so please contact the group for up to date information.[/col]
– Short cycle: 25km – Clogheen – Graigue – Goatenbridge – Ardfinnan – Clogheen
– Medium cycle: 50km – Clogheen – Ballyporeen – Ballygiblin – Kilbehenny- Cahir – Ballylooby – Clogheen
– Long cycle: 80km – Clogheen – The Vee – Lismore- Cappoquin – Master McGrath monument, Dungarvan – Ballymacarberry – Newcastle – Clogheen
