South Tipperary Tourism Company invites you to come on a guided Glengarra Woods Walk. Glengarra is located along the old Mitchelstown Road outside  Cahir in South Tipperary.

Route: This Glengarra Woods Walk will take the Millenium Trail, a wonderful looped walk around this spectacular wooded environment.

Theme: Nature. The Flora and Fauna of this historical mixed woodlands will be the theme of this Glengarra Woods Walk.

Date and Time: Saturday March 9th at 2pm

Meeting Point: Glengarra Woods carpark, 12km south west of Cahir on the old Dublin to Cork/Cahir to Mitchelstown road (i.e. not the M8 Motorway, although you can take the motorway to Exit 11 if you wish and then travel past Kilcoran Lodge, you’ll find Glengarra Woods entrance further along the road on your right hand side, it is well signposted).

Glengarra Woods Walk Length/duration: 7km/2 to 2.5 hours

Minimum Gear: Trekking shoes/boots, raingear, a fully charged mobile phone and fluids.

Level of Walk: Moderate
